Here is a guy who built a blunderbuss with items purchased from gift shops AFTER passing through TSA monitored airport security. Note, this "firearm" was not used in the commission of a crime, it was just built to prove that a motivated wrong-doer can get by with limited resources, even those provided in the airport! Very interesting construction... Built in response to body-searches and aggressive passenger handling by the TSA.

He also built a working crossbow and shotgun.
