Haven't forgotten any mags lately. Two in a spare mag holster in the glove box and one in the compartment below the radio. So daily I have 4 mags ready to rock and within arms reach while in the car.

As long as you remember the lesson for next time you clean. As some stated, and I know I had the drill, even though it was my night gun, I would still check to make sure that it was loaded in the morning before I carried. And routine at 0400 is all the more important, especially if your brain dont really engage until later. I have worked super early mornings, afternoons, midnights, and 12-16 hour shifts on various jobs. The key is to always make sure your routinely check your firearms, just like you check for your keys before you lock your room or house up and make sure you have the car keys before you leave too
