There was a Ruger SR40 at PSS...

A friend of mine took care of that this afternoon. :-) It's his first semi-auto and he wanted something in .40.

It's his carry and home defense gun plus his wife and daughter are interested in shooting. We talked a lot about what his needs were and I think this Ruger really answered them all.

Man I hope Ruger comes out with the C version in .40 (.45 would be better for me) but I'd still snap up a carry version in .40.

I'm blabbing on here; however I'm happy for him and impressed with the SR offering by Ruger.

SR's are cool guns. As soon as they offer an OD SR9c my wife will be all over it like...

well, she'll want one.

I picked up an SR9c this week. So far I'm really digging it.

I'm interested in the SR40 as well, but Id rather have it in compact, so I'll wait.

Let me know what your buddies thoughts are on how that SR40 performs!
