I know we have quite a few FFLs on here, a handful of gunsmiths, and a few manufacturers. I'm looking for any info about beginning the process of becoming a manufacturer, specifically as it regards to a machine shop. Without getting to specific I know someone that owns a machine shop and is looking for other sources of business on top of his current industry. I once mentioned a quality lower at an affordable price could do wonders for business. I'm sure many other parts could be machines in his shop as well.

I know now a good place to start is the ATF website and I will start digging in there but wanted any other input as well. Feel free to PM if you don't want to post it up here.
