This is probably the prettiest gun I own.

A couple days late posting about this, but a week or so ago I did a trade for a FN Browning High Power in factory nickel. I was told it was dated from 1981. The gun is cherry and everyone I have shown it too loves it. :D The only thing about it that might be "wrong" I am pretty sure the grips aren't original. From reading I did on the Highpower forums show this gun would have came with wood grips with a Browning medallion in the center. But it doesn't bother me to much. I still love it!:D

Here's some pics since I'm sure someone will say something about it if I don't post them. ;)

lol thanks it is really shiny and in light the nickel gives off a golden hue to the gun. The pics don't do it justice. I plan to pick up some extra 13 round mec gar mags for it probably in nickel to match the pistol and maybe a set of hogue pearl grips. :D But I am also leaning towards the ivory grim reaper's that hogue sells....

incidentally this gun has me itching to get more HP's I wanna get a blued one with a ring hammer, maybe a Mk2, a MK3, and a practical!:D

That's a beaut. Pearl grips would look great on that, then you have to find her a lovely (and soft) holster to call home.

For grips go with the walnut, it looks so good with stainless. BTW, that H-P is real nicey-nice.

That is a beautiful pistol! There was a set of probably correct grips with the medallions on ebay about a week ago but they are more than likely gone by now. I'll check and let you know by PM if they are still listed.

Nice, beautiful gun but I personally would not want a shinny gun for home defense. It kinds of giving away my position, but then that's just me.:dunno:
