Today was a great day!

2 and half years I got married to a woman that wanted nothing to do with guns. She liked the idea of home defense and protection but didn't grow up around guns at all. She strongly discouraged our first gun purchase of a G19 a little over a year ago.

Fast forward to today, she shot for the first time. She shot the G26 and G19. 2 handguns, a .22, and a shotgun later....she wants a gun for Christmas but said she wouldn't be disappointed if I came home with one for her this week!!!

Congrats, I understand where you are coming from, my wife was a "city girl" never shot till she met me has "her" guns and enjoys shooting as well!!!

She shot some really nice guns. Did the 26 fit her hand pretty well? That's a great gun for carry for her.

She had trouble getting her hand around the grip on either glock. That's part of why she wants her own. To have good finger on the trigger her thumb falls short of wrapping all the way around. I've had my eyes on a S&W air weight internal hammer revolver for her but need to take her to handle and perhaps shoot one.
