Pretty cool. I don't know if I could ever drop the 450+ dollars on one but I think it is a pretty neat concept and would go great in a storage for survival type situations.

I'm Bob, Billy Bob. This is redneck James Bond all the way. :rockwoot:Does the fishing pole double as the cleaning rod for the gun barrel? "I'll have a Marlin, shake and bake not stir fried."

:dunno: I just can't come up with a comment for that. But for some reason I feel I should post some for no other reason then to tag this thread.

If you can't shoot that Gar on your hook while reeling it in, then it's useless!

OTOH- Gives a whole new meaning to "shooting fish..."

cool survival gear, hunt and fish all in one. Might work better as wall decoration though

I never understood exactly why people hunt Bobcat or Mountain Lion? These are likely the same people that hunt deer for "population control" :dunno:

But yeah, I wouldn't want to shoot one with a .22 either I don't think.

I know... Im gonna get flamed by a bunch of hunters now... :ar15:

Seems interesting. I think I'd rather have a gun that could be ready while I was fishing, but from a minimizing weight, etc serving multiple purposes I aspect I guess can see it.

As far as the portable fishing rod, i believe that Emmrod has the best product out there. If they could market this thing closer to the $250 range it would own the nich market it's in.

I'm kinda' with you on that one. Why would you spend that much money on something that isn't a good rifle or a good fishing pole when you could buy two Ruger .22s and probably two fishing poles for the same price?
    Too gimmicky for me...sorry.

I wonder if there is some sort of safety device in place to keep dumba$$es from leaving it loaded while fishing, and shooting themselves in the crotch!? That wouldn't be good in a "Survival situation"!
