I will be going to Michigan for thanksgiving and just wanted to make
sure I'm carrying legally. I know that they honor Indiana ltch and I believe
I'm not allowed to carry anywhere that alcohol is served, is that correct?
Also are there any other Michigan carry laws I need to be aware of?

I just want to make sure I don't break any laws, thanks

CC is legal in MI with your Indiana LTCH.
MUST inform police if in a traffic stop or other stop when they first make contact with you.

Restaurant carry is ok, don’t sit in the bar area.
    no schools
no place that a seating cap of 2500 or more. For example: if a movie theater that has 12 screens, if the total seating capacity for all 12 rooms is 2500 or more don’t carry.
    No sport arenas

    Same fed laws apply.

I go up all the time. What is above is all true. The gray areas would somewear like a Chili's, etc. Like other s have said donlt sit int he bar areas.
I'll also add that casinos are off limits as well.
They do not have a "gun check" at the casinos either. I hear some Indiana casinos do.

HANDK, I did not know about the .02 BAC. Good to know.

The restaurant issue was my main concern, I don't plan on drinking but wasn't sure if I was allowed to even enter a restaurant that served alc.
    thanks for the info

Might be a dumb question but...
I did a quick check on no CC in a bar or where alcohol is served here in Indiana. I didn't find anything. Did I miss this info?
