Triple H Gun Club destroyed by fire

The Triple H Gun Club, about two miles south of Linton on State Road 59, was destroyed by fire early Friday.
According to an official, the fire was reported around 3 a.m. on Friday.
John and Ronda Hert own Triple H, which also includes The Grill on the Hill Restaurant.
The Herts do a lot of community service, including providing fireworks during Labor Day Weekend.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.

That's a bummer. They're nice people and had a nice facility.
The last time I was there they had several firearms on the rack, including some Garands. What a waste.
I hope they can get up and running again.

I have never been there, but I have wanted to go. They are rebuilding they said so I'll get to go there once it is reopened.

That was a lot of ammo that burned up, on top of the guns! Sucks.

I heard a couple things about it yesterday. There were some batteries charging and one blew starting it. I also heard that a number of those guns were there on consignment.

I talked to the owners son today. They have the cleanup done and are getting started rebuilding.
