I agree with some posts above. YOU ARE INFECTED.

REMOVE YOUR COMPUTER FROM THE INTERNET (read unplug that ethernet cable)
DO NOT VISIT YOUR BANK'S WEBSITE
    DO NOT CHECK YOUR EMAIL.
    DO NOT PASS GO.

I am a fan of keeping my important documents in one folder (preferable with a backup copy daily). Wipe the computer and start from scratch. Scan your folder of documents for viruses from a verified clean computer and then move on with that fresh install. Once compromised, always compromised. Your infected computer can never be trusted again. That's just my opinion, (but it IS also my job).

I'll have my son come fix this mess. Until then I'll go with the lap top. :D

He's my go to computer guy.

This is a link to a very good anti-malware scanner. The full (pay) version gives you realtime protection, scheduled scanning, and scheduled updating. I use the free version and just check for updates run a scan from time to time...sort of like PC preventative maintenance.

I'd like to find the guy this came from and have a little talk with him.

I've said that many a time myself. Here's something that might be an easy fix....

avast! - Download antivirus software for spyware and virus protection

Download and install the free home edition. When the installer has finished, its going to ask if you want to do a boot time scan....do that. It'll catch the bugger before it has a chance to load itself at Windows start up.

I had a nasty trojan/rootkit once, and this killed it when nothing else would. It had even installed itself on my second hard drive, so that when I did a clean install, it just re-infected it!
