Nitro Company makes a 10 gauge "Economy Load" that combines copper plated lead with Hevi-shot to produce a 3 ounce payload. My buddy is trying to reproduce this load at home but he keeps running into an overpressure problem with commercial powders. He suspects this is a blended powder but he can't find the formula anywhere. Can someone more knowledable than me say what powder/blend of powders Nitro Company uses in their 10 gauge 3 ounce payload Economy Hevi-Shot with Copper round?
