Having spent a painful 3 months without initiating any new wars, NATO & the US are poising for what looks to be another war with Syria in the near future.

French General: Strike on Syria "feasible"
A Nato strike to disable the Syrian army is technically feasible according to experts, such as former French air chief Jean Rannou. But it could make the country's internal situation worse.
US poised to call for Syria's Assad to go
The United States, after weeks of hesitation, has finally decided to call explicitly for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down amid broadening pressure to staunch the bloodshed.
Russian envoy to NATO Dmitry Rogozin has warned that NATO’s plan to attack Syria is part of a build-up that will eventually target Iran and lead to "a large-scale war in this huge region".

Indicating that an assault on Syria is in the pipeline, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called on Russia to stop selling weapons to Assad’s regime.
