I'm not a member of this organization, but have friends who are. I've been to a sales event for these folks, where they sponsored Guy Relford as the speaker.

I like the video content these folks put out, for the most part. Not much for this one though. I'm actually a little insulted by the guy's inference...

I might show them my license with the address covered up, that way they have no reason to believe I'm not an IN resident. Maybe my LTCH. But recording it? Heck I don't even want to sign a receipt.

I've never asked anyone for their DL with the intent to record anything. Maybe just a quick glance as proof of IN residency but that's it. Mostly not even that if they are a well-established member here which is pretty much who I've sold anything to. A lot of my transactions (buy or sell) have been with the same few members on multiple occasions.

I would never agree to a photo, front and back, of a DL. I also won't do signed anything. I will show a DL or Carry License with no info recorded by that is the max.
