Sure their fancy, but I'll just stick with my 11-87. I want something I can take to the field and count on because I know it will work - and has been proven through the years. Personally, I think they are getting a little out there with the 2 port gas system in hunting shotguns, but that's just me.
My dad bought a new Xtrema 2 and the firing pin spring broke in a couple weeks. His came with a rifled deer barrel. To get a bird barrel, he could buy a brand new 11-87 3 1/2" mag for cheaper than a new barrel.
I will agree whole heartily that the 11-87 is by far the better weapon, It is very dependable and easy to operate and maintain. We have a dressed one hidden in our store for emergency use.
I was just impressed by the cycle rate and recoil of the Beretta. I also like the Spas 12 but I would not rely totally on them when there's a 11-87.
