    I was just given a bottle of Universal Clays that has some #7 shot in it. What would be a good way to remove the shot. Was using a Lee Load All and filling the shot side got some shot in the powder. I told him I would take the powder. Have used some to load .44 WCF and have weighed each charge so I could see if any shot was in the powder. Have removed about 1 oz so far. It is so slow when I have been loading on a Dillon 550B for 20 years.

    You need a lead magnet! Seriously though, I would try one of those wire basket type kitchen strainers. Might find one that would pass the powder granules but not the shot. Otherwise you are down to pouring it in a big glass bowl and picking it out by hand. Good luck.
