I wanted to give a quick review of the universal tractiongrips I bought on eBay. I paid $5.99 with free shipping. The seller Don Myers seems to be a real nice guy with great communication. On to the installation...

The universal set comes with two 1.5"x4" rubber textured adhesive panels.

I used some blank paper to cut out a templet and traced them on the backside of the tractiongrips. Note, be sure to flip your templet over so you have one for each side.

Then I followed the directions and wiped the frame down with alcohol, I used tequila. :): Next I peeled the backing off and carefully put them in place. Finally I gave them a quick pass with a heat gun and pressed them in firmly.

I'll say they are nice and thin, that's why I didn't like the hogue handall. The adhesive feels really strong even without the heat gun. However the added heat did help mould it into the little crevasses very nicely. I'm not sure how long they'll last but for the price I'd say well worth it. The two tone looks cool too.:yesway:
