    ..snip...We were doing 15-18 tournaments per year and traveling all over the place. Mostly around Indiana, but also to Ohio, Illinois, Pensylvania, etc.

    You can take your gun to IL to shoot? thought IL required a permit to have/own a gun? Interested as I'm fixen to visit my brother in WI and need to travel through IL to get there.

    I got over my addiction to karate tournaments pretty easily. I got tired of getting kicked in the head and other more delicate places. I was at one almost every weekend in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and shooting matches are a lot more fun. Getting c***-punched at a USPSA match is somewhat uncommon.

    Although, there were a lot more chicks at karate tournaments . . .
