Thanks for a great match as always, but could you turn the heat down a little next time?
OH and thanks Mongo for the help today. Much appreciated.

Huge thanks to set up crew Saturday. Great job guys.
And thanks to everybody that came out to play the game with us.
77 shooters all done by 3 with scores posted. BOOM!!

Only one hiccup on the day that I was aware of. 2 scores did not get saved. Sorry about that guys.

It's looking like the temp/humidity combination is beyond what I choose to endure, so I probably will not be there this time.

    Well, well, well . . .

I decided to brave the elements and shot the match. Fortunately, the real heat didn't arrive until we were about finished! We got lucky!

Now, given that . . . WHERE WAS UNCLE CRAIG?

Was it, oh, I don't know, too hot?

Uncle Craig, if my fat a** can be on the range when it's going to be that hot, you can do it too! HAHAHA!

I just talked to Uncle Craig he says the heat wasnt a factor in keeping him away.

He said he couldn't make it because the grip safety fell off the Xdm and he was running low on musket balls and black powder!

I told him he could borrow one of my Glocks, but he said "There isn't any way he could shoot with a well made firearm" and that he needed "a sub-par weapon to compete the way he's used to".

There was in fact a confirmed Rhino sighting.

He was inside a velvet roped off area to keep the paparazzi at bay but he was present.

How did you like my leather posing pouch?

Good meeting and shooting with you, sir!

Uncle Craig was at home in the A/C while all of us nephews were out repping the family. I hope he doesn't puss out for the state match...pray for cool weather.

I told him he could borrow one of my Glocks, but he said "There isn't any way he could shoot with a well made firearm" and that he needed "a sub-par weapon to compete the way he's used to".

    It was just shameful. SHAMEFUL!

You people are all screwed up I the head. Especially if you would ever think I would use a "Flock Handgun" . Had to set my priorities, get ready for camping ad alcohol or shooting , alcohol won!

The rod thingy on the powder thingy was loose and that was causing my squibs (I think it is fixed). I will be running some rounds today to make sure. I THINK, I saw powder go into every case this time. :dunno:

I must be spending too much time reloading. I actually understood that. :)

I use a powder check station, a bright light shining into the cases and frequent powder weight checks.
