    Hello INGO guys.

I'll be headed out on vacation to North Myrtle Beach shortly. I know that South Carolina does not honor Indiana's LTCH, so no carry. :(
But, what about in car during trip, or at condo during stay?
Can anyone share or point me to the required information.

I asked this same question a few years ago when I took my last vacation to MB.
You guys were very helpful. Wondering if anything has changed since then.

for example, has it gotten more/less restrictive.

    Cheers,
    /T

In SC having a loaded gun in the car is ok. (might have to be in the glove box/center counsel?). I highly doubt there is anything illegal about having a gun where you are staying, might want to call the SC state cops for that one.

I wish SC wasn't so STUPID with their reciprocity. Anyone know if there is a push to get them to stop being such prude *****es down there?

I just returned from NMB last week and I researched this as well.

No carry as you stated, but it is OK to leave a gun in you glove box but NOT IN THE CENTER CONSOLE. Transporting to and from a condo should be done in a locked case and the property cannot have a no guns rule.

I carried on my drive down a put it in the glove box when we entered SC. Keep in mind that in Tennessee and North Carolina signs at restaurants carry the weight of law.

Sadly that was the reason I decided not to vacation there. I chose another similar place that recognized a citizens right to self protection.

Last time I checked they only honor resident permits of surrounding states. They are d-bags.

I also voiced my concern about SC's lack of regard for the 2nd amend. rights of citizens from other states...
My "boss" disregarded my concerns. ;)
She likes the condos in SC.

    Cheers,
