    Very entertaining. Great job. Why didn't you put the dart into the shot cup? That would've reduced the damage to the dart.

    Maybe if you could somehow stiffen the shaft of the dart. Sort of like a sabot.
    either a foam, or Styrofoam, or something. Then, as the push causes the shaft to bend, the sabot would stop it from bowing.

    Styrofoam might be too soft.

    The only thing against your land mine, is I think it's only detonating due to the shock of the steel plate slamming onto it.
    Would it do the same for something not slapping it?


    But, I don't want you to get hurt testing it.
    If you tried to trigger it, and it doesn't go off, you need some way to get to it safely.
