A violent new film from cult director Robert Rodriguez is declaring war on Arizona with a "special Cinco de Mayo message" in the wake of the state's controversial illegal immigration law.

Robert De Niro as a gun-toting, Stetson hat-wearing, flag pin-blazing cowboy from Texas?

    Okay...

LMAO... Machete was a fake trailer in the Rodriguez/Tarantino collaboration, "Grindhouse" (Planet Terror/Death Proof). People have been begging him to actually make the movie, so he's probably just using this as a springboard. It's about as serious as an episode of South Park.

Interesting that the article doesn't once use the term "undocumented workers". Even the quote from the film calls them "illegal aliens".

This pic says it all. It's Tom Tancredo, former U.S. Representative from Colorado at the border.
