I was given three different handguns today to identify and clean. I'm having trouble with the last one. It is marked with the Eagle over N proof on slide and frame. It is chambered in 7.65. It looks exactly like a Walther PP except.... no hammer. I can't find a hammerless Walther PP online anywhere. The grip is shaped like a Walther but there is no Walther name on the gun anywhere. The design on the grip is two large SS with a small U in the center. I thought maybe a Colt clone but the frame doesn't look like the hammerless Colt. Serial #460*** Came in leather Walther type holster. Any ideas?

We really need a picture. The only thing I can think of offhand is a Sauer 38H (SuS= Sauer und Sohn).

    Is this it?

Any marking on the holster it came with? Holsters came sometimes be more desirable than the guns.
