It appears that our Defense department may take orders directly from the President and not even bother consulting with Congress.

From my personal interpretation of the video I seen today, it seems like Panetta shocked a congressional hearing by claiming he only needs to consult with the President who may give his permission after consulting with the UN or Nato.

    Panetta: 'International Permission

I'm probably just over reacting though...I tend to do that these days...

    No over reaction at all.

The bastard fearless leader and his henchmen should be tried for treason.

Somebody once told me that if one sees cockroaches crossing the floor in broad daylight, it is because the walls are so filled with the pestilence that the roaches feel empowered to come out of the walls and cross the floor in the light.

This is what we are seeing in advocates of the new world order like panetta here.

The walls are filled with bastards like this who view the sovereignty of our republic, the individual liberties of its citizens and the desire for either secondary at best to their goal of establishing a global government.

We have been assured by certain INGO members that this is not only Constitutional, but the way things should be. Nothing to see here. It's just a continuation of the Bush Doctrine.

Congress gave the Commander in Chief power to engage in 60-90 wars on his own. They can then complain if it doesn't turn out well. Plausible deniability is Congress' modus operandi.

Who are these people? Someone needs to show them the Constitution and read it to them. Congress has the War powers. This is treason
