Weatherby Vangaurd II...

I made a trip to the gun store today. I kind of have the hots for a Weatherby Vangaurd II .223 I saw there. Action is really smooth and the trigger feels great. It has a 24 inch barrel. It seems to be everything I want in a .223 bolt gun. Plus I thought the price ok at $549

Anyone have any good/bad comments on the gun?

Aren't the Vangard actions made by Howa? If so, I would buy one. I have a Howa and the action is like glass, they have great adjustable triggers and mine is a tack driver. I would say... Buy it!

I own one and could not be happier with it action is great and talk about a shooter. I am sub moa all day

This is true. Great guns. Howa also makes the actions for Mossberg centerfire bolt guns.
