Streaming some bluegrass radio show out of West By God Virginia...while reloading some 40 S&W and trying to study a Windows 2012 R2 manual....it's TOO nice out to be stuck in here
"Used to have a town but the factory moved away
Down to Mexico where they work for hardly any pay
Used to have a country but they sold it down the river
Like a repossessed farm auctioned off to the highest bidder ..."
The Avett Brothers. There's just something about their simplistic style that appeals to me. These guys are actually cousins with a girl I graduated high school with many moons ago and she turned me on to them, knowing that I like a bluegrass/folk sound where the "artist" is actually required to play an instrument and have some talent, not just the ability to use a computer and studio.
Was listening to my shredder with Mythbusters in the background, when it caught my ear that this was the episode where they were testing balloons in the car airbag role. This is the one where Kari puts the tail on a balloon animal... orally. I had to shift my attention for a bit. The episode that's playing now, they're trying to get SKS rifles to fire with a car stereo.
