"I think the strongest argument for intelligent life in the universe is the fact that none of it has ever tried to contact us."
Calvin, from "Calvin and Hobbs"
I kind of think of it like us going out of our way to go visit an ant hill. They would probably look at us like a plauge, all we do is consume every natural resource an move on to the next. If I were an alien I wouldnt want to make contact with us. If they do visit obveously they have far superior intellagence to ours an all we do is kill each other an blow stuff up. Kinda have to ask yourself whats in it for them

This is an interesting philosophical discussion... Or it easily can be.
As a Christian, I believe that life arose on this earth Supernaturally.
But no where in Scripture, that I can discern anyhow, is it stated that Earth is the ONLY place.
Simplistically, it doesn't bother my belief system one bit to surmise that perhaps yes, there are other worlds out there that have some kind of life on them...no matter what form it may be.

Not to get into 'Verboten Land', but if there is a belief in Angels, as many Christians do, there must be belief in life elsewhere other than earth. Because what are Angels, other than some form of Extraterrestrial lifeform?
