I've recently changed from carrying a compact 1911 to a CZ 75 Compact. I have found that I shoot the CZ much better than my 1911s and until that changes, I'm going with what works best for me.

I carry a Ed Brown Kobra Carry when its warm, and just picked up a Wilson CQB 10mm for when I need to pierce some winter coats and several inches of blubber.

One of two if not both on me.

I carry a Kahr P380 most of the time (pocket carry) and sometimes I add a Glock 36 when I want a larger firearm with me. With that said the vehicle I drive has a Glock 23 inside it all the time no matter what I carry on my person.

Has anybody had any success / problems with using the old Colt 1911 mags in these guns?
