If you really believe what you wrote, then you should be demanding that this entire forum be closed down. After all, look at all the new and old posts chock full of information that the anti's could use.

I am sure Michael Bloomberg is using the INGO search function right now looking for his next item to ban. Good thing our search function stinks....maybe that will be the only thing that saves the 2nd amendment from such traitors as all those on INGO who post information about guns.

Keep on writing letters and making phone calls to be sure that you are in complete compliance with the arbitrary will of these little tyrants. Surely there's not an issue that they haven't thought of that you could bring up in one of your several letters and phone calls. Maybe you could get ahead of the ball and ask them how confiscation will work and where you can turn yours in. You know, just in case.

The BATF is currently re-examining the issue with the help of groups like Everytown. All the anti-gun groups think pistol braces are dangerous and want them banned. How anyone can think there’s no threat is baffling.

Yeah the Everytown nuts want to ban everything. No one is saying there is no threat from them. There is a threat to Everything gun related when it comes to Everytown but they are not knowledgeable on small items like pistol braces. What some of us like myself are saying is let's not write letters asking for clarifications on specific items like pistol braces that are currently legal. I.E.: let's not give them anymore fodder or ideas for their gun grabbing and twisted minds. Now to the ATF comment: I have not seen any credible info stating that the ATF is looking at banning the pistol braces. So why don't you back up your statement with a legitimate link to prove that ATF is currently looking at pistol braces instead of echoing the OP's message of asking for permission to use what is already legal.

They are listed in every new assault weapons ban that has been introduced for the last 2 years, by name. IF you think they aren't sending bags of prewritten letters to the batfe you've lost your mind. Atf has recalled 2 different factory braced firearms in the last 4 or 5 months and reclassified them as destructive devices and sbs. These were weapons that had been on the shelf for years, swipe of a pen they are now illegal with no remedy. Not only that, but the silly reformation Smoothbore that has been widely publicized for years was redefined into an nfa category that has never been used before with zero dealers purposely licensed to sell them.

I remember when they weren't coming for the bumpstocks, then amnesty for bumpstock owners, then lawsuits to save them...

If you think they are not moving against braces you have your eyes closed.

I fully believe you are capable of typing in some keywords on Google to find the countless references and anti gun discussion boards having the conversation.

I have learned 2 things.

1. This gun forum is the cause of all anti gun related activity. Because of what is posted here, we are losing our rights. Both BATFE and all anti gun groups specifically use all my posts on INGO as their source material for new things to ban. I guess I should be flattered that someone considered my opinion so important. Either way, I need to STFU, sit down and stop asking questions. What the hell is wrong with me thinking this was a place to ask firearm related questions.

I guess I will let the rest of you who are posting on INGO ruin our 2nd amendment by discussing firearms and their related issues....you traitors to the 2nd amendment and constitution. I would consider that last sentence purple, but bwframe would disagree.

2. Per many notable INGO members and even a mod....I should ignore firearms laws and do whatever I feel like. I guess we can no longer use the term "law abiding gun owners" in our 2nd amendment conversations here on INGO.

Now that I have been educated on how I have personally ruined the constitution and the 2nd amendment, I can do nothing more than end this thread. After all, if I continue to make posts, I could be the cause of getting morning cereal and ink pens banned by the morning. That horse has left the barn. You think BATF isn’t rethinking braces after media reports, the Dayton shooting, their letter last July changing the way pistols with braces are measured, and efforts by anti-gun groups? And that those groups aren’t up to speed on braces? Suit yourself.
