This thread helped kick me in gear for the safe.
Just got back with my new little fire/water safe that I put the documents from my gun safe into. It is a tight fit on the top shelf of the gun cabinet, but now I have double the protection.
I added a silica pack as well, just for extra measure. Don't have much precious metal besides steel, but I will toss in some paper money, just in case.
Now I just need to update all the pertinent information for inside this safe and my off site storage place.
