I just replaced my old Casio (the band broke) with another one.

    G Shock GW7900B1 (I think).

Solar powered, radio controlled, and a bunch of other functions I don't know how to use yet (and probably don't need anyway).

I might need some time to get used to the negative display.

The autolight function is pretty neat.It turns the backlight on when you tilt your wrist.

I love my grey Casio G Shock GD-350! For around $100 it’s great. Especially if you like watches that are a bit on the chunky side.

My daily driver is a Casino G-Shock 3229.

When I'm going hiking or camping, I switch to a Vostok Kommandierski.

When the environment is going to be more formal I wear a Casio MTP4500D-1AV

How has the Vostok been for you?

I was looking at then but still on the fence. I want something I put on and never take off. Have had two Luminox and they both have failed. Last one kept fogging up after showering and swimming until the finish started peeling off the face.

Just curious how you have used it and how it has held up.

...I want something I put on and never take off...

For a real "put it on and forget about it" any of the Citizen Eco-Drive perpetual calendar watches.

I spent about 15 years with this one as my only watch. Took it off about twice a year and hosed the band down with brake cleaner to remove all the crud it collected...

If you want an automatic dive style watch with a sapphire crystal, I like the Deep Blue line. Lots of movement choices and a wide range of prices...

Never thought to use ballistol on my watch, that is a good call.

I've worn a couple of Seiko 5 for several years. Great little automatic watches. It was $55 when I bought it, but I think it's closer to $70 now.

I wear a Fitbit Ionic most of the time. The only actual watch I own is an Invicta my dad gave me and I only wear it when I feel like blowing my money on batteries or there's a chance I might need a brick to cave someone's skull in.
