I was fooling around taking pics of guns and knives. I thought I'd take a picture of what somebody may have carried back in the day.
My top pick would be a 1911 .45, but I don't have one old enough.

Lets see your pre 1940's carry guns. Accessories are a bonus.

Colt 1903 .32 and FN .25 with sap and straight razor.

Can I say that I would carry one of the VERY early version of a Glock? :D
Come on if I cant carry a Glock then what reliable weapon can I have?
    A freaking stick?

Ok fine I would have to go with a revolver then.
Something who goes bang everytime I need it.

Colt model 1878 in .45 probably would have been my choice. If I had the money I like to think I would have carried a Colt 1911.

    I don't actually have either :-(

I'd probably have to bulk up a bit to carry it... but I'd sure try. :D

    Action starts at 1:25.

Clever thread. You may be the only one who actually has their gun though, :)

British Bull Dog revolver, in .44 short. Its got a bit of an infamous history, but I love the look.

Fireaxes, I second the razor and sap (I have a knife now, but regularly carry a sap).

    Loadout would have been:
Smith Triple-lock hand ejector .44 Special (actually have my grandfathers!!, long term project... :) )
    razor
    sap
18 rounds of loose LRN in pocket... :D (no real speedloaders back then, guess I could tape the rounds into a semblance of a speedloader)
