Military primers are harder

short answer ..Yes
Long answer.. I've been loading for the M1 since about '95, Some people will tell you that Win primers shouldn't be used for an auto because they are "soft" so there is the chance of slam fires. As long as you fully seat the primer you will not have an issue.

I've sorta been wondering the same as I have cci primers but can't find #41s

I used winchester primers loading for my PSL and it fired off 2 rounds once. The PSL has a floating firing pin I am not sure if the M1 does or not.
