Ammo and mags. Oh wait what thread is this? :) The more I try different flavors the more I realize the less you have the richer the experience. Going to try to stick with what I have and burn it up.

I'm with you on this. I get caught up in the "arms race" but then I sit down and honestly assess my situation. It would be far better for me to shoot the hell out of my 1911 9mm. Eventually I may even become proficient with it.:)

I really like guns, but my reality is I don't shoot much and what I have spends a lot of time in the safe virtually never being used. Sure, it would be nice to have a $1300 competition CZ, but what I have is beyond my abilities anyway.

It is probably becoming apparent to some on this thread that I am a little ADD.:) But that's how I roll. I talk myself out of more purchases than I talk myself into.

I try to head to the range at least a few times a month and I like to take several guns with me when I go. I like to stay with common ammo though. Makes things simpler and cheaper. So now I only have guns that shoot 9mm, 22LR, 5.56. But after 2 years of scarce ammo, I'm rethinking that. In pistol calibers .40 and .45 replaced the empty shelves long before 9mm. Lately I've been thinking about adding .45ACP.

Oh, for a minute there I thought maybe you were a Glock guy going for a 7th Glock 19, only gen 4 this time because you only have one gen 4. Gotta love those Glock guy's ability to stick to a plan.

Hehe nah that's a lot of Glocks! I have a few and my EDC has been the same G19 for years so I do like them. And I have a small sampling of other styles but they're just fun guns for me, I don't have a problem with that. I used to shoot every day, at least a mag or two. But since child #3 I got slowed way down on free time.

I don't know really... I was fondling a TRP Operator today... I am thinking about a Sig 938, but is it really a pocket pistol...
I have even wondered if I should try a Glock 19...
I have pondered selling several that I don't use and getting a Nighthawk or WC...

All of those are good choices!

Kel-Tec PMR-30 will be my next handgun for sure. Please allow me to explain:

    1) I have always wanted an FN 5.7mm but never bought one because I don't want a gun that I can only use one type of (very expensive) ammo in. The Kel-Tec is different but compares nicely. Kind of a second kind of cool.

    2) 30 rounds/mag. That is a lot of bang.

    3) The thing is feather light and fairly concealable. Even with a fairly beefy Glock weapon light the weapon is very light in hand.

    4) A local shop has them for $399 and includes two boxes of ammo!
