My new house is ICF with a geothermal system. I can't wait til it's done and I can move in. I've never had central air. That was one of the top 3 requirements for this house that I would not compromise on. I'll probably have the thermostat on 75 year round. Supposedly these ICF houses can be heated and cooled for $4-600 the entire year. I'll find out.

    Winter 69 occupied, 67 sleep, 63 vacant.

    Summer 78 vacant, 75 occupied, 72 sleep.

Obviously these are programmed. If conditions warrant I'm not opposed to adjust accordingly. Typically in the winter I'm running around in shorts and t-shirt and the gf is in long sweats, thermal socks, hoodie and two blankets. Now that I think about it that is pretty much our summer home attire also!

Ours looks something like this, too.
    Winter: 6-8am 68, 8am-4pm 60, 4pm-10pm 68, 10pm-6am 60

Summer: A work in progress. We only moved in last September, and we really like to use the "off" option as much as possible. I just went and checked through the programming for summer...it needs some tweaking, but it looks like 6-8am 68, 8am-4pm 85, 4pm-10pm 78, 10pm-6am 82. Not sure if that makes any sense or not, though...!

i must be the only one with out air conditioning still. thats ok. single story house with light colored shingles and a whole house fan. never gets more than 79-80 degrees during the peek of the day in the summer.

as for the winter. i try to heat my house with wood so the temp fluctuates between 65-80 depending on what type and how much wood i keep busy putting in there.

my utility bill is 45-50 dollars year round.
