That's exactly where they came from. Great guy to do business with and the inserts are immaculate. Plus, every 50th order he gets he sends out for free... better odds than powerball! :):

Chad does good work and his prices are right too. These inserts are Olivewood and even with the factory medallions they're only $35 a set.

My 626 that I am both the first and third owner on. I bought it at the beginning of the year but sold it this summer when times were tough. Last week it found its way back to me, so here it is again making a second appearance.

There has been a bit of discussion about the grips, and it's true I have always hated the looks of those Hogues. I want wood, but I can't decide between a nice set of magnas and these combat grips. It's my nightstand gun. Any suggestions? I've got shorter fingers. Are the combat grips better for larger hands?

My Glenn Custom, one of two I bought from Mickey Fowler. This 686 is set up for NRA Action Pistol and I shot it a couple years at the Cup before building an 1911 for the sport. This gun will shoot sub 1/2 inch 50 yard groups with Hornady 125 JHPs. I still love plinking with this at long range.
