I work in Columbus and may have to travel in a week or so. My passport expired 28 days ago, Where is the closest Agent to get the quick turnaround. Looks like it will cost about $200, Part of it i guess

Chicago will do same day. We got one for our son last year in about a week with the expedited stuff. You pay extra for overnight shipping and a bit higher fee.

+1 if you need it that fast, Im not sure the post office can expedite it that quick. I thought I read somewhere that mailed in expedited is right at a week. I could easily see your passport arriving a day after you needed to travel. Chicago is your best bet.

    Good luck!

Would a reservation number or confirmation number with the airline work as proof of travel arrangements? I'd hate to get up there and have them say it wasn't enough.

They'd have to answer that... But if you have a confirmation, you should be able print an itinerary, at least...

I've gone to Chicago a couple of times for 1 day service. I had tickets in hand both times.
You may be able to find an expediter that will walk it through the system for a fee.
Check with your local travel agents.
