It's just an inside joke, man. Don't take it personally. You know what you meant, and some of us didn't. We were just trying to understand. We tend to get a bit sarcastic, and it's worse when someone uses the word "lax" to describe our hard-earned freedoms.

Is the Indiana law more lax than the Federal law on straw purchases?

Except that, Trump didn't call out the mayor. He publicly offered federal assistance for what is an obvious problem.
