Well took the wife out to Hacienda and guess what! No little 5yr old girl/boy tried to disarm me, mister 92fs didn't try to jump out of holster and steal my rootbeer, and most important it didn't start tring to murdilize people. LOL

The new Dawson's 2 in Brownsburg. Sat in the bar, so the 5-years-olds would leave us alone. Owner and manager stopped by to check on the service. The group of 40-somethings on their "girls night out" did the whole "stare/whisper/stare/whisper" thing for a minute, and then went back to their martinis and girl talk.

Very nice place, and great steaks. Pricey, though.

Just a confirmation to anyone that shops at The Greenwood Park Mall...

I chatted with a few Simon Security Officers today regarding carrying in the mall.
    From their mouths:

If they see someone openly carrying a firearm, they'll simply ask you to return it to your car and allow you to come back in.

I giggled at that point and commented, "Well don't worry; you won't see me carrying in there. ;)"

"That's fine...as long as we don't see it, we won't bother you." (Obviously).

So... if anyone has wondered how it'd actually go down if you decide to OC in there.
I have personally, just happened to go under the radar.

Heh, yeah when they first approached me, they just asked me to pull my shirt over it until I leave. That was just the one time, though.

OC'd there tonight without problems, went to a lot of stores, too. Guess they didn't notice.

Just got back from the liquor store on 31, just south of the Speedway in Greenwood. The one next to the car lots.

Grab my beer, walk to cashier.

"You know it's illegal to carry a gun in a liquor store, bud?" He says, pointing at my glorious 1911.

I was in a hurry, so I went for the stern response.

    "No, it's not."

    "Oh, well take it easy."

What a mental giant the clerk was. He accepted "No it's not" as a reason and just gave up? :n00b:

Entirely different experience at the Warsaw liquors east last summer. Guy at the counter thought it was great that I was OCing. We got into a gun conversation ...thought he was going give me the beer for free! Though, that was not to be. :dunno: :D
