May try LFish on the east side. They have a clearance room. You can usually talk them down a few bucks if you pay cash. I bought a reclining leather couch there 5 or 6 years ago.

Paid like 250-300 for it, had some blemishes in it, but you wouldn't notice them unless you were really looking.

Also sorry to hear about your situation.

    L. Fish gets my vote ,too.Always received good quality there and decent prices and good friendly service. I drive over 50 miles to shop there and don't really have a bad experience yet.

I went to a plethora of shops today looking and pricing. I will say that L.Fish was a pretty good price performer and had a nice selection. I'm still looking for what I like at a price I also like.... any more suggestions of where to shop are welcome!

Have you tried the room place?
From my limited experience V.C., Room place and those types all had the same stuff.

Kittles outlet off 96th and I69 may be worth a shot.

Yeah I have noticed that they all basically have the same stuff. They also all play different pricing games...which is mildly annoying...but none of them are too far off each other in their prices.

Buying furniture is worse to me then buying a car.
Aside from those second hand stores I can't think of many other places.

Craigslist maybe worth a shot if it doesn't have to be brand new.

Brand new is not a requirement, but skeezy and cootie-ridden is a deal breaker. One can do the same things on a couch that one can do in a bed....I don't do second-hand beds either. Creeps me out....

Indy wholesale wasn't all that cheap for what you were getting. We looked there when they were having their closing sale. We ended up buying at Gerdt's closing sale. But we have already sold the couch :(

Is there a certain color scheme you are going with? I may know of a reclining couch (people who I sold mine to/neighbors)
