    Guys,

    Is there a place where you can look up what the factory recoil spring is for a pistol. ( For example if you are trying to find the recoil spring weight for a Springfield 1911 Factory Comp ). I've looked at Wolff springs but they just point you over to Colt 1911 springs which would imply that the standard spring is a #16.

    16 is the factory spring weight for a standard 1911 I don't know about a factory comp spring would be.
    Call Springfield they should be glad to tell you.
