I use to own a Ruger mkIII Target. I currently own a Buckmark. The Ruger is a great looking firearm that didn't have any issues functioning but was a pain to clean. The Buckmark also didn't have any functioning issues but was much easier to clean. Both are great guns. I would still own both if I could.

    Both Excellent

In this case, you simply can not go wrong with either one.
Pick the one you like better, and buy it.

I'm the OP and I have both. I love, love, love the way the BuckMark feels (grips, balance, trigger, mag loading) and shoots - gosh it is dead on accurate.

MyMK III is brand new and it needs another few hundred rounds thru it. It has a harder plastic grip. (The thin grip smaller for my 2 girls). The mag base is too long and extends in front and back which hinders ejecting. I like that it came with a scope mount base plate and screws, so plus for that.

As of now, if I was gonna get another, I would definitely go Browning BM!
