Which cheap one to carry poll?

If you HAD to carry one what one would you carry? Both are reliable. I know these are not guns that will win a popularity contest but interesting delimma.
In my experience high point are decent guns but .22 caliber is a downer though extremely easy to shoot.

It could do without those big-@zz letters though. I would carry a .22, its better than nothing.

If I had to I would carry the C9, just not a fan of .22 for SD

How many rounda in the 22?

The Chiappa needs some tweaking usually. I've never heard of a C9 not working out of the box

I chose the .22.

Because if you're going to only carry one gun, it may be that you only have one gun. The .22 is easy to practice with on any budget, it's fun, and very controllable for almost everyone.

On second thought, the Highpoint doesn't inspire me...

Neither. Get a Kel-Tec P3AT for a cheap gun that works and uses a decent round.

The C9 for the sole fact that .22 is rimfire. I would never trust a rimfire for SD if a centerfire was available.

Between those 2 I would go with the C9.

I own a C9 and have never had a single issue with it. Sure there are many better carry choices and I don't carry mine, but between those I would go with 9mm over .22 any day.

C9 because not carrying 22 for SD , if the poll were for plinking it would be the 1911-22

I own a C9. I wouldn't carry it unless I had to, and in this case, I'd have to. No way I trust my life to a .22, especially THAT one.

pretty much anything besides those two.
i would not trust either of those with my life, or my families lives.
the people i care about, and the people i have not met yet, lives are more important to me than the couple hundred bucks more, to purchase a reliable weapon.
i know, bad grammer, but you get my point.
