I don't care for the two-piece design of the Kidd, so my vote is for the NDZ.

FWIW, I have been using the TacSol and hadn't seen the NDZ, but, after looking at them, I think I may order a couple of the NDZs for current projects.

I prefer the Volquartsen extended mag release. Similar to the factory version Ruger now uses but it makes removing the mag a one-hand operation. Operate the release with your pinky finger and the mag just drops into your hand.

I like this one so far. I like pulling instead of pushing the mag release.

Could be that if your used to pushing, you won't like it, but I installed mine before I had 300 rounds through the rifle.

I had Brimstone install it when they did my trigger job.

I had the volquartsen a few years ago. It worked very well and I liked it. Or so I thought.

I was walking through some brush while squirrel hunting and when I got to the other side I noticed my mag had fallen out. Must have snagged the release on something. I never found the mag either. I went home and removed it.

They are nice for bench shooting but if you'll be using the gun for hunting be warned.
