Looking to buy a RRA lower with Fixed A2 stock and I am wondering which I should go with? RRA A2 lower with two stage match trigger for $400. or a RRA A2 lower with mil-spec trigger for $290. and replace trigger with a 3 lb. Timney. It's kind of a no brainer except I don't know the weight of pull on the RRA two stage match trigger. Most of my shooting will be target shooting (not formal matches) and some varmint hunting. Just like to get some opinions.

Your paying $110 for the trigger. When I bought mine, I paid $99 for it, plus I had the extra Mil-spec trigger that came with my LPK.

You are close enough that if you like that trigger, you may as well pull it.:)

If you're headed toward a trigger upgrade, the Rock River 2 stage is a very good one for the price. But, if you're headed toward a $200+ trigger in any event, buy the lower price option. My first AR was a Daniel Defense and I put a RR NM trigger in it (about $130 I think). My son still shoots it and really likes it.

I love the feel of my RR 2 stage. I just purchased a national match from them, and it shoots great. The trigger has a great feel to it, and to me the second stage is just right.
