    I came across this review of some HSM loaded .50bmg:

    “Very effective at making inkblot art out of formerly existing organic material. Do not recommend shooting at anything closer than 15 yards; unless you're into the whole "bathed-in-blood" deal. Also quite the conundrum for regular hunters. As a headshot means you won't be able to turn it to a mount...but you get all the meat you can eat. Alternatively, a body shot will leave you with little meat...but you'll have a mount you can look at to remind you of the rorschach you made on your hunt. Overall, 9/10 just wish they had more in stock so I didn't hesitate to waste my last 3 rounds.”

    Because that’s sort of what I was intending to do to nuisance critters on the Ranch…
