"Of the 620 bills that Paul had sponsored through December 2011, over a period of more than 22 years in Congress, only one had been signed into law — a lifetime success rate of less than 0.3%.The sole measure authored by Paul that was ultimately enacted allowed for a federal customhouse to be sold to a local historic preservation society (H.R. 2121 in 2009)."

Now, I don't think Congress needs to pass a lot of bills, but seriously, in 22 years, he had ONE initiative passed and it was meaningless? THAT's the leadership you support?
All that says to me is that Ron Paul doesn't go along with the status quo.
What truly matters is whether or not Paul was right on the issues or not.
I'm sure that if Paul had written a bunch of bills to increase spending, many more of them would have passed. Good leadership? Good for America?
Obama has sign plenty of laws. Is he effective? Is that a record to strive for?
