Savage Mark II TRR-SR with SWR Specte suppressor, 4 shots, CCI Subsonic, 75 feet. Not too shabby if you ask me.

Very nice! Where are you getting your CCI subsonics from? I am ready to burn out the last of my Remington and switch over.

Nice shooting! How much quieter is it? I put some subsonic though my non-suppressed 22lr with no noticeable effect.

Subsonic rounds are preferred for use in a suppressor on a rifle. Hi-velocity will still be quieter than un-suppressed, but you will still get the sonic crack down range, and it will sound much louder than subsonic suppressed.

With a can, you can hear the striker fall and the bullet hit the cardboard back at 50 and 100 yards! It's a real treat. I can't rememebr the last range trip where my suppressed Bolt action .22 hasn't gone with me!

My semi's are too loud with the suppressor, cannot wait to send off a my 22 bolt to get it threaded.

Just have to stop shooting it first...

My Ruger 10/22 is nice and quiet suppressed. The loudest part is the bolt falling chambering the next round. I suppose a bolt hold open modification would make it quieter. It will shoot one hole at 25 yards without a problem. I use CCI Standard velocity which remains subsonic. It is only 20 fps faster than CCI Subsonics.

My Savage MkII FV-SR is wicked accurate; with my Outback II-D, it will put 5 rounds of CCI Subsonic into a nickel at 50 yards, and I am by NO means an accomplished rifleman!

I agree with IndianaGTI, my 10/22 is nice and quite while wearing the Outback II. And once I lock the bolt with a JT bolt lock kit, shooting Aguila SSS rounds, it is super quiet and plenty accurate.
