I got my sorry diabetic, arthritic, cancer-ridden, one-foot-in-the-grave butt out to vote today. As I addressed my ballot I saw at least half a dozen people I could nominate as republican candidate for POTUS who arent even running for the position.

Question 1 - If a Person with all the problems and time consuming issues that I have can stay current with who is running for president, why the heck can't the election authorities get current? I might as well have wrote in john McCain.

Question 2 - Won't the plethora of ineligible candidates to choose from serve to dilute the vote, or somehow alter the results concerning the ACTUAL candidates?

Question 3 - Could the bogus nature of this ballot lead to the looser being able to contest the results?

I assume once one qualifies to be on the ballot, the name can not be removed even if they drop out. But I agree, it caught me off guard and I would guess it will significantly dilute the vote.
