This my friends, is a large part of what's dysfunctional in Washington. We muat be cautious to not use a wide black or white brush.Does anyone have a list of who voted to raise the debt ceiling in the House and the Senate? Whoever voted to raise it we need to vote out next election and whoever didn't we need to keep on their butts to keep doing the right thing.
From what I have heard, on the radio Carson voted NO, because there were NO TAX INCREASES ....Senate
Lugar voted yes
Coats voted no
House
Carson, Vislosky, Burton, Rokita, Stutzman voted no.
Donnely, Pence, Bucshon, Young voted yes.
To Pudly's point, you can't just go by the yes or no, but rather the reasons for the vote. I'll go out on a limb and say that Coats and Carson voted the same way for entirely different reasons.
Ok, you can start with the majority of the GOP. From 2002-2008, they voted and raise the debt ceiling 7 times.
