The add said it runs good, but I wonder if the guns still work. Would be cool for trips to the store for groceries. Probably would not have to worry about dings in the parking lot. :)

A guy at work has an army truck thats been banned from the parking lot because its too heavy. Wonder if this would be too? I mean, what good is it if you can't drive it to work? I'm thinking some Donald Sutherland music blaring from loud speakers on your way to work would be pretty awesome.

There's less paper work involved in getting a tank (with de-activated guns, of course) than in getting a machinegun in this country. They trade pretty much like a standard automobile by what I've been told, but I've never gone through the process myself. I met a fellow once who owned two tanks and four or five APCs.

It's not that much work. Shipping will kill you though. There was a Messerschmidt on ebay the other day that was pretty slick. Frequently you can find tanks from the UK on ebay as well. Just do a search for military vehicle. I'm thrilled to see someone selling a hmmwv for almost 70,000.00

Plus, if you had the parts/know-how, you could reactivate the main gun as a Destructive Device. =)

A tankette is good enough for the city.
